Asking “what about” in Thai using “lâ”
The pattern แล้ว…ล่ะ (láew…lâ) is equivalent to “and what about…?”. For example, “what about you?”.
You can omit the แล้ว (láew) and the meaning stays the same.

Structure
⭐️ แล้ว (láew)…ล่ะ (lâ)
Putting แล้ว (láew) is optional. Using แล้ว (láew) is kinda of like saying “and what about you?” vs just “what about you?”. The word แล้ว (láew) gives the feeling of the “and” in this pattern.
