Saying “because” in Thai with “prór”
The word เพราะ (prór) means “because” or “because of”.
เพราะ (prór) is interchangeable with เพราะว่า (prór wâa). However, with เพราะว่า (prór wâa), sometimes a longer explanation is expected. To play it safe, you can always say เพราะ (prór) for “because”.
